TRADE APPRENTICE
WINNER 2017!!
Back in 2017 William was a second year bench joiner apprentice at one of the top Bespoke Joinery firms in York. He successfully applied to the hugely competitive Srewfix Trade Apprentice of the Year contest. After winning the regional title, it was then off to London for the National part of the competition. William was up against 9 of the countries most promising apprentices, demonstrating carpentry and joinery skills and having to speak in front of a panel consisting of top industry professionals. He passed every test and challenge with ease, showing that even at the tender age of 19 he was and still is miles above the other competitors. William was crowned the Screwfix Trade Apprentice of the Year 2017 at the Google headquarters in London.
With the money and vouchers he won, William has been able to purchase many high end mechanical crafting and finishing machines.
Boasting one of the most up to date, technically advanced and impressive privately owned workshops in the North of England.
We are very proud of all William has achieved and can't wait to see where he can progress from here.
